Stand by Me
Stand by Me believe every child deserves love, care, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a charity they stand by the world’s most vulnerable children — bringing life-changing care through education, healthcare, family support, and the love of Jesus.
From the streets of Ethiopia to the mountains of Nepal, Stand by Me work in some of the world’s poorest communities, standing beside children who need help the most. Together with their supporters, they provide more than just aid — they build relationships, restore dignity, and empower children to thrive.
Chester Schools Christian Work (CSCW)
CSCW are dedicated to bringing the hope and love of Jesus to the heart of school life. As a local Christian charity, they work in partnership with schools across Chester to support young people through assemblies, lessons, lunchtime groups, mentoring, and chaplaincy.
Their mission is simple: to share the Christian faith in a way that is relevant, respectful, and real — helping students explore life’s big questions and discover their God-given value and potential.
Rooted in prayer and supported by a network of local churches, individuals, and volunteers, CSCW has been a trusted presence in Chester’s schools for over 30 years. Whether it’s leading a classroom discussion or offering a listening ear in the corridor, they aim to be a consistent source of encouragement and hope.
People to People Foundation
The People to People Foundation believe in restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity to those most vulnerable in society. Based in Oradea, Romania, and supported by generous partners across the UK and beyond, their mission is to provide direct, compassionate support to children, families, and the elderly affected by poverty, neglect, and social exclusion.
Since 2001, People to People have worked at the heart of Romanian communities — offering shelter, education, food, medical assistance, and emotional support to those who need it most. Through their child sponsorship programmes and emergency interventions for people living in crisis, every initiative is driven by a deep commitment to human dignity and lasting change.
Through partnerships with UK-based donors, churches, schools, and volunteers, they continue to expand their reach and deepen their impact. Whether you're looking to support a child, volunteer your time, or help fund a life-changing project, your involvement makes a real difference.
